Three Musketeers?

Last year when I went participated in the Great Banquet as a team member I was a nervous wreck.  I was called out of my comfort zone.  I swore up and down that I wanted to be on the Agape team and the Director put me down as a table leader.  I really, really, really didn't want to be a team leader.  But the director was positive that was were God wanted me to be.

The tables were prayed over as to who was going to sit where.  The first night of the banquet we met our fellow table mates.  I was nervous.

By the end of the banquet it was evident that God wanted me as a Table Leader and that He put our table of ladies together.  God's hand over the entire thing - Being a table leader was an AMAZING experience and the ladies at the table were a perfect match.

That was the exact same feeling that I got tonight when I had dinner with Amy and Lori!  Although we had chatted via e-mail I was nervous before we got together.  We met at Applebee's and spent over 2 hours getting to know each other.  We talked about families (we are all married and have boys), we talked about jobs and how we felt about being called to go on this trip.  What an amazing pair of ladies they are!  We shared information that we've learned so far about this trip and Amy shared a bunch of information about previous mission trips she's been on.  She also shared some stories that although we laughed tonight, at the time it was an adventure (spiders and rats - oh my!) that's putting it nicely!  We decided to pack peanut butter and snacks to share too!  We thought of a bunch of questions to ask our trip director!

Tonight I'm thankful.  For again seeing God's direction and guidance on this trip!  I feel like we are friends already and will be for a long time!  =)

I can't wait to get together again!
