As I mentioned before, I'm not very good about trying new foods. Andrew is amazing...he'll try this and that and has found many new foods that he likes.
Not me.
Nope...not my thing.
I've been thinking about this awhile, and, well, it's time to get with the program and start trying new foods. I mean, in three months I'm going to be trying many new foods so I better get an attitude adjustment now! I need to have a positive attitude, not curl my nose and well...just get over myself! I certainly don't want to offend my hosts!
So last night I put my right hand up and promised to start trying new foods. What was I thinking? Why didn't I keep this as a personal goal? Accountability you say? You hit the nail on the head!
Michael was ALL OVER it. He starts mentioning things like shrimp and stuff like that. I guess I'm in for it, huh?
Then he mentioned braunschweiger. Sigh...what did I get myself into? Andrew just tried it for the first time a few weeks ago and liked it.
Then he mentioned sardines. I drew the line there. Nope. Ain't gonna happen. Michael started teasing me saying "you promised!!!" - but I didn't say I'd eat just anything!!!
Drat. Let's just say that when I go grocery shopping for the next 3 months I will be VERY careful about what I bring into the house!
You guys have a good day. I'm going to go purge the pantry and get rid of a few things. Chicken livers anyone? I heard they were good for fish bait....
